As many of you know, we love the NBA and in the early morning hours on Saturday the labor dispute came to an end. Many people believe the players got the short end of the deal, but the truth is there were concessions on both sides. The players still received the majority, albeit slight, in revenue sharing. The owners were able to push through alterations to how smaller markets can generate more revenue to remain competitive with larger market teams. Regardless of who you think won, the NBA is back. If the lockout continued, nobody was going to make money anyway. So this hopefully will spawn a decade of great basketball as we watch new stars rise as the old guard is elevated to the pantheon of NBA immortals.
